Scheduling & routes

Know what every day is worth before the crew leaves the yard.

Every run shows its hours and dollars, so the light days stand out and you can fill them. Repeating work books itself, and when rain or a sick day gets in the way, you can move a job or a whole day in seconds.

Free for 14 days. Scheduling and route optimisation are on every plan.

Plan for income

Book the work once

Repeating jobs that stay put

Set a job to repeat every week, every 2 weeks, monthly or on a custom pattern, and it keeps turning up on the schedule until you stop it. Each one carries its work required, estimated time and price.

  • Change one job without touching the rest of the series
  • Unlimited jobs on every plan

Rounds that change with the seasons

Set how often lawns are done each season, like every 2 weeks in summer and every 4 weeks in winter. When the grass slows down, switch to winter and every seasonal job follows. The next job keeps its date.

When plans change

Rain, sick days and jobs that run long

Move one job in seconds

Drag a job to another day and both days' hours update, so you can see how much room is left. SortScape asks whether the rest of the series should move too.

Or the whole day

Rained out? Select the run, choose Move jobs and SortScape offers the next working day. Complete, skip, text or email a whole run the same way.

On the road

Less driving, more billable hours

The fastest route in one click

Open a run's map, set your start time and where you start from, and tap Optimise route. SortScape puts the stops in the quickest order and shows when you'll reach each one and when you'll finish.

  • Arrival times update as your crew works through the day
  • The new order flows to the app and printed run sheets

Keep each crew in one area

The schedule map shows every job for the day, coloured by run. Spot a job on the wrong side of town and move it to the crew that's already there, then optimise each run.

The day before

Stop texting customers all night

Customers know you're coming

Turn on automatic reminders and SortScape texts or emails customers before each job at the time you choose. Move a job before its reminder goes out and the reminder follows it.

Of driving saved

“The scheduling feature alone saves me at least two hours of admin every day, dramatically reducing stress and giving me more time to focus on growth instead of getting caught up in paperwork.”

Everything around the schedule

Crews and colours

Give each crew a name and colour, set who's on it by default, and see at a glance who's working where.

Public holidays and closed days

Public holidays and days you're closed show on the schedule and the roster, so your team sees them while planning.

Works without signal

The app keeps the next two days of the schedule on the phone, so crews can see their jobs out of range.

Directions in one tap

Open the next job in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, or see the run on the car screen with Apple CarPlay.

Printed run sheets

Prefer paper in the ute? Print the day's run sheet in route order.

Questions

If I move one job, does the whole series move? +
No. Dragging a job moves just that one, and SortScape asks whether you want later jobs in the series to follow. Editing the due date on the job moves the series.
Is route optimisation on every plan? +
Yes. Basic optimises runs of up to 25 stops, and Premium up to 150.
Does optimising a route change my job times? +
It saves the new order, and shows when you'll reach each stop and finish. It doesn't write those times onto the jobs. If a customer needs a set time, give that job a start and end time.
Can my crew see the schedule on their phone? +
Yes. The iPhone and Android apps show each person their run, with directions to every stop, and keep the next two days on the phone for when there's no signal.
Is there a limit on how many jobs I can schedule? +
No. Every plan has unlimited jobs, properties and customers.
