Properties map view

Last updated:

The Properties map view shows your customer locations on a Google map. Use it when you want to see where your work is concentrated, which suburbs you are already strong in, or where you might have gaps in coverage. It is a geographic overview of your properties, not a route planning tool.

Web browser only. Open Properties and click View as map. This view is not available in the iOS or Android app; use the Properties list there instead.

  1. Click Properties in the main navigation.
  2. Click View as map in the top right (map marker icon).

To switch back, click View as list.

By default, the map shows active properties that have an upcoming visit. Each property appears as a pin. Click a pin to see the contact name, property address, and a View property button.

The map zooms to fit all visible pins.

Pin locations come from the property address. If you have set a custom GPS pin on a property, that location is used instead.

Properties without a location that can be shown on the map are omitted.

Above the map you can turn on:

  • Include properties without upcoming visits to show active properties even when nothing is scheduled.
  • Include archived properties to include properties you have archived.

How this differs from the schedule map view

Section titled “How this differs from the schedule map view”

The schedule map view shows scheduled visits for a particular day, grouped by job run and colour-coded for route planning. The Properties map is about your customer base as a whole, not a single day’s run sheet.
