How can I pause my repeating jobs?

SortScape does not have a “pause” button for repeating jobs. If you need to take time off, you can push jobs forward using Shift schedule on the web calendar.

Taking a week off (sole trader or one crew)

Marking annual leave on the Roster only stops you being assigned to job runs. It does not:

• remove jobs from the Schedule
• turn job colours red or green
• stop work already booked under your crew from showing

After you set leave, still move that week’s jobs, or Skip them if the work is not going ahead.

Only that week off, keep later weeks where they are: use Move job run for each day you are away. See Moving entire job runs.

Push everything from a date onward (including later weeks): use Shift schedule on the web schedule. Do not use Shift schedule if you only want to clear one holiday week.

Shift schedule

Shift schedule asks for an Effective date and a Number of days to move. Every job on or after that date moves forward by that many days, so one run is enough to push your whole schedule out (for example, 7 days for a week off). It has no end date and cannot be undone.
