Business profile
Last updated:
Open Settings → Company → Business profile. You need to be an administrator.
Business profile is where you set how your business looks to your customers. Changes show on quotes and invoices you’ve already sent the next time your customer opens them. Emails you’ve already sent don’t change.
Company logo
Section titled “Company logo”Your logo shows on quotes, invoices, service reports, your request form, the card payment page and at the top of every email you send customers, including job reminders.
Until you add a logo, an empty box shows where it goes. Click the box or Upload logo to add a PNG or JPEG (up to 5 MB). To replace your logo, click it and pick a new file. Remove logo takes it off. A PNG with a transparent background stays transparent on your quotes, invoices and emails.
For a sharp logo on PDFs, use a PNG that is at least 400 pixels on the longest side. A tiny file, such as a social media icon, will look pixelated. Going much larger than 400 pixels doesn’t make the PDF any sharper. After you upload, open a quote or invoice to check it.
Brand colour
Section titled “Brand colour”Your brand colour is used for the submit button on your request form, and for the email and website links on your quotes and invoices (online and in the PDF).
- Click Brand colour.
- Pick a colour, or type a hex code such as #1F3B4D.
- Check the sample button and link.
- Click Save.
Pick a colour that white text is easy to read on, because the request form button uses white text. If the colour is too pale to read on a white page, the dialog tells you, and links on quotes and invoices use your normal text colour, underlined.
To go back to SortScape green, click Use SortScape green, then Save.
Contact details
Section titled “Contact details”Click Company name or Company details to change them.
Company name: the sender name on every email SortScape sends for you, and the name on your quotes, invoices and request form. It doesn’t need to be your legal name. Messages that use the Your company name tag fill it in from here.
Company details: your address, phone number, email, website, ABN or anything else that identifies your business. It shows under your company name in the From block on quotes and invoices, online and in the PDF. Phone numbers, email addresses and websites become links. It can be up to 500 characters.
Company details are the same on quotes and invoices, so changing them here updates both.
Where these settings used to be
Section titled “Where these settings used to be”The logo and company name used to be on General, the brand colour on Requests, and company details on Quotes and Invoices. Those pages now show the current value with a link to Business profile.
