Sending a job report to clients

Generating a service report
Section titled “Generating a service report”Once you mark a visit completed, you can generate a “service report” and send it to your client. To do this:
- Open the completed visit
- Click on the ”…” button located next to the “reopen” button
- In the dropdown menu, click “Generate service report”
- In the dialog, choose which details to include. You can include completed issues and open issues, along with time, employees, work done, and the next scheduled visit
- If the visit has photos attached, select which photos to include in the report
- Click “Generate Report” to create the PDF The service report PDF will be automatically added as an attachment to that visit.
What’s included in the report
Section titled “What’s included in the report”Service reports include:
- Visit details (address, contact information, date, time, employees, and time spent)
- Next scheduled visit date (if enabled in settings)
- Work completed during the visit (tasks and notes)
- Completed issues (shown as “Extras” when you choose to include them)
- Open issues for the property (shown as “Outstanding items” when you choose to include them)
- Photos (if you selected any when generating the report)
- Custom footer text (if configured in settings)
Configuring service report settings
Section titled “Configuring service report settings”You can customize your service reports in Settings > Service reports:
- Include next scheduled visit date - When enabled, service reports will include a “Next scheduled visit” row showing when the next visit is due
- Include completed issues by default - When enabled, service reports will include an “Extras” section showing issues that were completed during the visit
- Include open issues by default - When enabled, service reports will include an “Outstanding items” section listing open issues for the property
- Service report footer text - Add custom text that appears at the bottom of all service reports (optional)
You can still turn completed issues and open issues on or off for each report when you generate it.
Sending the report to clients
Section titled “Sending the report to clients”After generating a service report, you can send it to your client:
- The PDF is automatically attached to the visit
- Send an email notification to the client and add the service report PDF as an attachment
