Changes to billing for customers paying through the Xero App Store

What is changing?
Section titled “What is changing?”Xero is retiring its App Store Subscriptions service. All Xero App Store subscriptions for SortScape will be cancelled on 30 June 2026.
After that date, you will need to pay for SortScape directly through our billing system. You will be asked to enter your credit card details on our secure billing screen. Your payment details will not be transferred automatically from Xero, so you will need to enter them yourself.
Does this affect me?
Section titled “Does this affect me?”This change only affects customers who currently pay for SortScape through the Xero App Store.
If you already pay SortScape directly by credit card, no action is required.
What do I need to do?
Section titled “What do I need to do?”From 30 June 2026, when you log into SortScape you will be prompted to enter your payment details on the billing screen.
The billing screen is only available in a web browser. Open app.sortscape.com in Safari, Chrome, or another browser and log in. It is not available in the SortScape mobile app.
Your new SortScape billing will start on 1 July 2026, the day after your Xero App Store subscription ends. Once your payment details have been entered, your subscription will continue as normal.

Will my pricing change?

This change only affects how your subscription is billed. Your existing SortScape subscription pricing will remain unchanged.
Will I lose any prepaid subscription time?
Section titled “Will I lose any prepaid subscription time?”No.
Xero will cancel App Store subscriptions on 30 June 2026 and refund any unused prepaid subscription time on a pro-rata basis.

What if Xero keeps charging me after 30 June 2026?
Section titled “What if Xero keeps charging me after 30 June 2026?”If Xero continues to charge you for a SortScape App Store subscription after 30 June 2026, please contact Xero directly. SortScape cannot cancel or refund charges made through the Xero App Store.
Where do I update my payment details after the move?
Section titled “Where do I update my payment details after the move?”After your billing has moved to SortScape, any changes to your payment details must be made through SortScape, not through Xero.

What happens if I don’t update my payment details?
Section titled “What happens if I don’t update my payment details?”SortScape will provide a short grace period after 30 June 2026 to allow you time to enter your payment details.
After the grace period expires, access to SortScape may be restricted until payment details have been provided.
Why is this happening?
Section titled “Why is this happening?”Xero is retiring its App Store Subscriptions service as part of changes to how apps are billed on the Xero platform. This was a decision made by Xero, not SortScape.
SortScape is handling the move to direct billing ourselves. To continue providing uninterrupted access to SortScape, affected customers need to enter their payment details on our billing platform.
