How do I change the property on a quote?

SortScape ties each quote to the property you select when you create it. That property links the quote to the client and billing contact. You cannot change the property on an existing quote.

If you picked the wrong client or property, use Copy. That keeps the line items, their notes, any photos on those line items, and the quote’s Customer view settings. The copy does not use your current account defaults for what customers see.

Copy the quote to the correct property

1. Open the existing quote.
2. Open the quote dropdown menu and click Copy.
3. Select the correct property when creating the new quote.
4. Review the copied line items, notes and line item photos, then save or send the new quote.

Photos and files in the quote’s attachment gallery do not come across. Add those again on the new quote if you still need them.

You can delete the old quote if you no longer need it.
