How does everything fit together within SortScape?
Last updated:
SortScape has many pieces to it. Here’s a high-level summary of how everything fits together.
- A contact which is a person (e.g. John Smith with phone 0494809943 and email john@smith.com.au)
- A property which is a place you go to perform the job. It has an address, suburb and post code. A property belongs to a contact. A contact might have one or more properties.
- A visit belongs to a property. It has a due date and estimated time, value and notes. You can create one or more visits for a given property.
- An issue also belongs to a property. An open issue appears on any visit for that property until it is marked complete. When you complete it from a visit, it stays visible on that visit (with a green tick) so you can see which visit it was done on.
Adding a new customer
Section titled “Adding a new customer”SortScape does not have a separate “client” record. To add a new customer, add a property and link it to a service contact.
