The best ways to handle multi-day visits

Some jobs—like full garden cleanups or major landscaping—can take more than a day to complete. Here’s how to schedule these in SortScape so they appear clearly for your team:

Step-by-step guide:

• Create a one-off visit for the job on the first day, describing the work and setting the estimated time required for that day.
• Copy the visit for each additional day the job will take. You can do this quickly using the copy function on the visit.
• Update each copy:
  • Adjust the “Work required” field to reflect what’s planned for that specific day.
  • Tweak the estimated time based on how long that day’s work should take. Use Presets to pick a starting duration, then fine-tune with - and +. See Setting estimated time. This keeps your schedule clear, avoids confusion for your team, and ensures each day’s tasks are tracked separately.
